This screencast tutorial was created to explain how to get started with Avid Pro Tools, a DAW (Digital Audio Workstation) that is considered the industry standard in recording. I have used Adobe Captivate for many other projects so I was very confident going into this project. Using a new program creates some challenges but I learned that many of these programs use the same tools. I utilized lots of zooming, panning, and highlighting. I also added some text bubbles and arrows for good measure. The audio could be cleaner but rather than record the audio in a separate program, I wanted to try out Camtasia's audio engine. (Ironic given the subject matter, I know). It's not great.
